C.     ATTRACTIVE DEMURRAGE PACKAGE FOR LOG :

        Apart from the cost viable  licensing scheme for storage of log at different berths of new section - KP Dock I East, 13/14 NSD, a very attractive demurrage structure for storage of log at port stacking yard has been adopted as at below :-

 First 7 days (to be counted from the last Landing Date)

  Free (As per existing structure)

Next 7 days

 Rs. 6/- per tonne per day

Next 7 days

 Rs. 12/- per tonne per day

Then onwards

 Rs. 18/- per tonne per day

D.    Keeping in view the convenience of operation vis-a-vis cost effectiveness of container movement it has been decided to have the CPY rates applicable on containers being handled at Non-CPY berths by Port equipment support system.  In other words, presently this facility for non-terminal berths containers is restricted to stacking at CPY berths only and this facility is thus being extended to other berths of NSD subject to service being given at those berths by port equipment support system.
