Subject: Addendum to the Tariff Rates of Centenary Hospital, as hoisted in the Website
1. Advance Deposit and Service Charge for Indoor Treatment
In case of Indoor admission of the eligible categories of Non-dependant relatives of KoPT employees / pensioners, advance deposit at the following Rates has to be made at the time of admission.
(i) For Cabin/Ward : Rs. 2,500/-
(ii) For ICU : Rs. 5,000/-
The patient party has to replenish the advance deposit as and when the cost of treatment exceeds 50% of the amount initially deposited as advance. The amount of advance will be adjusted against the bills raised for indoor treatment. The patient/patient party has to clear all dues of the hospital including a non-refundable Service Charge of
Rs.80/- before a patient is finally discharged from the hospital.
2. Allotment of Cabin
Normally, Cabins shall not be available for allotment to the non-KoPT patients. Only in exceptional circumstances, Cabins may be allotted, subject to availability, with prior approval of the Chairman.
3. Mode of Payment
All payment shall be made by cash only at the designated Cash Counter at the Front Desk of the hospital against receipt.
4. Rate of Concession
The concession to the above mentioned eligible categories of non-dependent relatives of employees/pensioners will include :
(a) 35% concession on general bed charges (inclusive of all meals/food)
(b) 25% concession on bed charges (inclusive of all meals/food) in Cabin/ICU
(Intensive Care Unit)
(c) 25% concession on all investigations/treatment/operations.
5. No Concession on certain fees/charges
No concession will be allowed to the eligible categories of relatives of the employee/pensioner on the following fees/charges :
(i) Registration Fee
(ii) Ambulance Service Charge
(iii) Instrument charges for operations/procedures
(iii) One time Service Charge of Rs. 80/- for indoor admission
6. Supply of Medicine and Consumables
Centenary Hospital will be under no objection to supply medicine(s) and consumable(s) from its stock to the non-KoPT patients as a matter of rule in all cases patient/patient's party will supply/procure medicine(s) and consumable(s) as per prescription of the Doctors. In case of any unavoidable circumstances or emergency, if medicine/consumable is supplied from the hospital stock, patient/patient's party has to make payment of actual cost plus 10% (overhead) towards supply of such medicines/consumables immediately on issue.
7. Claim for refund
The patient may prefer claim for refund of excess payment, if any, within 15 days of discharge by production of Registration Card, Deposit Receipt and Discharge Certificate along with the application for refund.
