Notes :

1. Vessel bound Sagar anchorage must report at Lower Gasper L/V (212154N, 880930E) at least two hours before High Water Sagar and maintain proper contact with the pilot station & VTMS all the time on channel 16/68.

2. Masters must procure Estuary River charts through their Agents for the safety of their vessels.

3. During "FOUL SEASON" i.e. 1st April to 31st October vessels barge under Inland Vessel Act are not permitted to ply below Haldia.

4. Vessels under 210 mts can avail additional draft on Haldia Forecast basis of categories.

5. Night draft subject to all lights in order.

6. Gaspar Channel - 6.9mtrs. & Middleton- 6.6mtrs.

7. Size of vessels acceptable at virtual jetty at sagar between LOA 170 mtrs. to 240 mtrs. Minimum 16 mooring ropes would be required for berthing.

8. Pilot embarkation at Middleton Channel.

9. Vessels are required to have two serviceable   anchors for safe transit.
