Amendment of Medical Benefit Scheme for Retired Employees

Kolkata Port Trust Retired Employee's (Contributory Outdoor & Indoor ) Medical Benefit Scheme has since been amended to remove the time limit for joining the scheme, Henceforth, the option to enroll as members for availing medical benefit under the above Scheme can be exercised at any time by an eligible retired employee/invalidated employee/spouse of deceased employee/spouse of retired and deceased employee, subject to the condition that the option once exercised shall be final and irrevocable.
