Revised priority of calling / saling of ships at Kolkata Port Trust

POL Products and chemicals viz., MS, ATF, SKO, HSD, FO, Naphtha, Lube, Paraxylene, Butene-1, n-Hexane, Bitumen, Benzene, Butadiene, Py gas, CBFS, Alcohol, Phosphoric Acid, Acetic Acid and M.E.G. vessels (calling with or scheduled to load 2500 tonnes or more) whether for discharge or loading.

POL products and chemical vessels calling with or scheduled to load less than 2500 tonnes and waiting for more than 48 hours will be at par with priority No.6.

 

8)

 

Coast Guard Vessels (on emergency), Indian Navy Vessels, Scientific Expedition and Exhibition vessels.

 

9)

 

Container, all types of Coal (Both for Imports & Exports).

 

10)

 

Iron Ore.

 

11)

 

Other vessels [excluding vessels under item No. (18)] waiting for more than 48 hours will get priority for calling at par with vessels of item (10) above.

 

12)

 

Vessels carrying Edible Oil imported by Central or State Government.

 

13)

 

Edible Oil/Vegetable Oil vessels a/c other parties.

 

14)

 

Limestone & all types of Coke vessels, Steel, and all other types of Ore vessels excluding Iron Ore.

 

15)

 

Foodgrain vessel (Import & Export), Pulses and Log.

 

16)

 

Fertilizer and raw material for fertilizer vessels.

 

17)

 

General Import and General Export vessel and vessels not mentioned at items (1) to (16).

 

18)

 

Vessels for repairing, dismantling, Engine trial, change of crew and other non-cargo handling purposes.

 

 

Note:

 

1)         Container vessels under category 9 above shall mean vessels carrying/due to load containers (TEUs) quantum of which will be 100 (import & export together) both for KDS and HDC. Vessels carrying/due to load containers less than such specified number of containers shall enjoy priority of the general import and general export vessels under category 17 above.

 

2)         Naphtha and Paraxylene vessels waiting for more than 24 hours will be accorded priority at par with vessels at item (4) above.

 

3)         Out of turn priority may be accorded to vessels for Haldia Oil Jetties at night subject to receivers/shippers/agents giving an undertaking that the vessel will be sailed out on the next morning tide.

 

4)         Stipulation of 2500 tonnes at items (6) & (7) above will be revised to 3000 tonnes after one year.

 

5)         POL vessels may be accorded priority in line with the crude tankers at HOJ-3, provided the POL vessels are waiting at anchorage for 48 hours or more.

 

6)         Vessels completing cargo handling inside the impounded dock and intending to backload export cargo without going out of the impounded dock system, may be accorded priority over other vessels waiting at anchorage in Ballast for loading exports.

 

The calling/sailing priority of ships as mentioned above, may be reviewed after six months.

 

            All other conditions remain unchanged.
